Oh La, La!

After a night at the GotStyle: Red Light Affair with Fella, a morning after dosage of Coras' breakfast was hungrily necessary. Sitting across from Fella, and after a few weeks of hearing "Brit, start a blog!", from friends and family the last, "You should start a blog," comment from Fella got me fed up and ready to begin. Even Toronto purse designer, Jeanne Lottie, told me to start a blog when we first met yesterday at her lovely client appreciation sale. So, over breakfast the name scramble began over a cup of tea. (Yes, a pun, I love puns and feel that I am punny here and there.) With absolutely no help from my fella, I looked around and found myself staring at "Shopper's Drugmart," and that is how "le shopper: a britique" began.

Now, lets talk about last night! Well, after a quick subway ride and cab, Fella and I arrived fashionably late at the Amsterdam Brewery where the Red Light Affair was being held. This industrial setting was a little eerie to me, but as we hopped out of the cab and walked to the doors/ opening for beer deliveries, red lights boomed from up above. Now, after switching into my new YSL booties from theOutnet.com in the cab, the ramp to the red lights up above was a definite hike. Thank goodness for my tall glass of water's stability! I just pictured myself rolling head first, booties flying, down the ramp... I definitely earned my "cup" of wine when I made it up to the lights. 2 cups later, the fashion show began. Great styles and eye wear from male model to male model. It was a definite hottie show, of course none of the outfits/kilts would ever make it to Fella's closet, but hey, that's okay he's a tee and jeans type of guy. We're actually going shopping tomorrow for him at Yorkdale... I invited myself when he said he needed new jeans. I'll be there holding a load of tees, shirts, and jackets...being ignored when I say, "Just try it on!" Anywho, back to yesterday. So, as the show ended and my cup ran empty (somehow), it was time to blow this beer stand, and grab a late dinner with the Fella at Yonge and Dundas. YUMS!
